Welcome to Ruby Rose Labradors — a family-run breeding program fueled by love, passion, and lifelong companionship. Myself, my husband John, and our three daughters — all of whom absolutely adore every member of our pack, are each involved in all the processes.

Our roots in caring for animals run deep. John and I were surrounded by canine companions throughout our lives and we were both involved in 4‑H as children, . After we married, our family included two small dogs — a Yorkie and a Multi‑Poo — both of whom lived to the ripe old age of 12. When we lost them, it was devastating for all of us. That loss made us realize: we were ready to welcome another dog into our lives... this time, a larger breed.

In 2020, our journey into the world of Labradors began. We chose an English Labrador for their gentle nature, sharp intelligence, exceptional affinity with children — not to mention their striking appearance: those big, blocky heads and solid build! When we brought our first Labrador, River, into our home, he captured our hearts instantly. Watching his gentle charm unfold, we knew we had to share that joy with others.

After navigating a few early challenges, we found the ideal female to build our program on: Ruby. She checked every box — temperament, health, and conformation all aligned perfectly. Ruby completed her full array of OFA testing with flying colors. Her DNA panel also returned clear results for over 200 genetic abnormalities, giving us confidence in her health and quality.

With Ruby as our foundation, we officially launched Ruby Rose Labradors, dedicated to cultivating English Labrador Retrievers of the highest caliber — ones that are healthy, loving, and ready to become treasured members of families across the United States.
